So it's only been under a year since the release of our first EP. But as you all may know, we've been busy writing and tracking demos for our upcoming full-length. We'll be using these to shop around and hopefully work with some bigger producers (well...bigger underground producers). We have a few in mind as we'd like to capture a very raw, intense sound for the new record as opposed to a more polished, over-produced one.
The wait is over. We'll be releasing 3 of the new songs this month. We feel it necessary to get an idea of what you all are thinking/saying about the new stuff. Thanks for your guys' patience as we've been talking about these new songs for quite a while now. We'll be posting them on our myspace (www.myspace.com/somastatemusic) very soon. See you all there.

"Sinews of War" is one of the best songs I've listened to lately... It creates a very specific atmosphere, rising from calm mellow riffs to agressive insertions with screaming and then calming down again... Great song... Hopefully there will be lyrics available to sing along with Jay :)
