Getting Wise
Mainstream media has remained in power far too long while setting their own rules without public consent (once again, the corporation dictates way too much). Take the Calgary Sun or Fox News as an example, they're a bloody tabloid sprinkled with current events and ulterior motives. For God sake, car dealership ads take up most of the spread (more money though -- right??). It's sad and ridiculous. News is hardly news anymore and the mainstream media better show signs of being much more adaptive because unlike our growing consciousness, they haven't.
We're getting wise.
No form of media should have the power to funnel information or sift through what they feel is important or paid to say is important. It's time for people to challenge each others' way of thought.

Here's Tony Hayward, BP's beleaguered chief executive being slapped over the ass (repeatedly) by US Congressional Committee.
He was accused of "astonishing complacency" and of cutting corners to save money, among a number of other major criticisms and complaints (see link below).
During the course of the morning, Mr Hayward faced attacks from both politicians and the audience....
I like the audience's approach best.

IRRESPONSIBLE FUCKS
As you may already know:
April 20, 2010 - the Deepwater Horizon oil rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico, 50 miles off the southeast tip of Louisiana. In yet another failed attempt, a "high-tech" nation threw brute mass, old tools and golf balls at the oil spewing from the ocean floor.
On April 22, 2010, the rig sank, leaving the well gushing, causing the largest oil spill in US history (approximately 800,000 gallons of oil each day).
"There is flow coming up the pipe. Just now, I don't know the exact rate," BP's chief operating officer, Doug Suttles, told NBC on June 4th (45 days after the incident began).
Thus far, an estimated 21 million gallons and 46 million gallons of oil have bled out into the sea since the rig exploded.
Six weeks since the spill began, BP's stock has lost more than one-third of its value, equivalent to $62.7 billion in market capitalization.
Both Transocean and BP continue to pass the blame without providing any answers.
People need to be held accountable when in a position of great power. Considering BP is the fourth largest company in the world, I say; OFF WITH THEIR HEADS.
